Conroe ISD announces school closing for Tuesday and Wednesday - Jan. 21&22

Conroe ISD announced today, Sunday, January 19 at 4:15 the following: Due to the impending inclement weather and potentially hazardous road conditions, Conroe ISD will be closed on Tuesday, January 21, and Wednesday, January 22. Stay safe and warm!
City Offices Closed - Tuesday, January 21 Due to Inclement Weather

The City Council has authorized the closure of the City Office for Tuesday, January 21, from 8AM to 5PM due to the impending freezing weather and the possibility of icy roads. The National Weather service has issued a Winter Storm warning - "Heavy mixed precipitation possible. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to 3 inches with the potential for locally higher amounts. Ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch possible."

The City Offices will be closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King day. We will return to normal business hours on Tuesday, January 21st at 8:00 AM.
WARNING - Freezing weather is expected this week, Jan. 18-23 - Take precautions!

Please take necessary precautions to prepare for freezing temperatures this week. Wrap exposed pipes and plants. Make preparations for pets and livestock. And remember to check on any elderly to make sure that they have adequate heat.

Water Payment is Due by the 20th of Each Month

A friendly reminder that your Cut and Shoot Water bill is due by the 20th of each month.. You can pay in person at the office, by mail, by online payment, and by Bank ACH, or by phone by calling 936-262-0004.
Building Permit Requirements

The City of Cut and Shoot has building permit requirements now in place to protect the citizens and visitors in our city. Permits are required for new construction (residential and commercial) and include plumbing, electrical and heating and air conditioning. Permitting is also required for any commercial remodels and/or "add-ons" to existing structures. Permitting requirements are required for any resident or business within the city limits of Cut and Shoot.
